5 Moments- February 2019

Each month, I look back in reflection on my favorite moments, captures or days. This, in a nutshell, is what I love about photography; documenting the little things. It also provides a glimpse into the past to provoke emotions, share memories and tell stories.

1.Beating the cabin fever

February was a bitter cold month and full of snow storm after snow storm. Some of the most snow that many people can recall in years. Lucky us! But we did our best to stay inside, stay busy and keep the cabin fever at bay.

2. Never not moving

Now that he knows how to move, nothing will ever get in his way.

3. Sunrise on the beach

I took a much needed weekend away for all things photography. At Click Away sponsored by Clicking Moms, there were classes, meet-ups, gear rentals, and lots of other photographers to nerd out with. It was the perfect mix of business and beach.

4. The best ramen I have ever had

At the end of the Click Away weekend, a new friend and I shared a ride to the airport on a rainy, cold afternoon. While waiting for our flight, we decided to grab a bite to eat at a ramen place near the airport. I am unsure if it was just so delicious because I was hungry and freezing but this bowl of soup was everything I needed at that moment. It was by far the best bowl I have ever tasted. And I can’t even remember the name.

5. So many Valentines

For the rest of my life, I know I will always have 4 Valentines. And I couldn’t be happier about it.

I’m a family photographer in the Boulder and Denver area. I blog about my photography sessions, raising young children and what moms should know when they’re looking to hire a family photographer. Im Emily. Oh hey!

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a St. Louis Family and Lifestyle Photographer and this is my blog!

As a busy mother of 2, I know how quickly time can slip through your fingers. Being able to take the most simple and precious moments in my daughters’ lives and turn them into art that our family can admire forever has been a wonderful experience. The best part about it? I can do the same for you.
