Each month, I look back in reflection on my favorite moments, captures or days. This, in a nutshell, is what I love about photography; documenting the little things. It also provides a glimpse into the past to provoke emotions, share memories and tell stories.
1.When the sugar rush hits
You know that moment. When all of your dessert dreams come true after handful on top of handful of blue icing and white. Not familiar? Well that’s exactly what this guy was enjoyed while I happily snapped along with his cake smash. I mean, look at that happiness.
2. Baby Yawns
Every time I look at this picture, I feel like I can hear it. Not the baby yawn, those are silent. But the sound of moms everywhere saying, “Aaaawwwww” in unison as the memories of their own babies flood into their heads.
3. Mother’s Day
It wasn’t the relaxing, spa day that we all dream of but it was a day spent with family, chasing and feeding sweaty kids who have playing with their cousins and laughing at all of the goofy things said by equally goofy family members. Oh and I caught this rare moment shared between my babies.
4. “Please don’t throw dirt on your sister”
Clearly, neither was listening. 🙄😑🙈
These toes are growing too fast. I am doing my best to capture their sweetness at every turn.
I’m a family photographer in the St. Louis area. I blog about my photography sessions, raising young children and what moms should know when they’re looking to hire a family photographer. If that’s interesting to you, sign up below to get email updates straight to your inbox. Thanks for reading!
