How do I say thank you to the people who allow me to do what I love every single day?
To me, clients are like gold. They are invaluable, they choose me to capture their most precious moments, and they put their trust in me when they hire me.
So this left me pondering, “How do I say thank you to these wonderful people who matter so much to me?”
After much thought, I came up with a few answers that may seem small individually but as a whole, they show my message of appreciation. Read on and tell me what you think. Do these gestures show my appreciation? I would love to hear what you have to say!
From the first moment my (potential) clients reach out about working with me, it is my goal to give them the care and attention they would receive if they were my only client. Making you feel like the most valuable client is my number #1 goal. Because, lets face it. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t get to have this job and I want my appreciation to be known and felt from start to finish. I take the time to walk you through the entire booking process, I am here to help with outfit choices and I give a rundown of the session day so you feel fully prepared and ready to create amazing memories.
2. Highest Quality Products
What good is all of that care and attention if the outcome is, “meh?”. All of the love and helpfulness becomes void if the photographs from the session are less than fantastic. I have spent years perfecting my craft and give every session my 100% from beginning to end.
3. The Gift
I finish this process off with a nice little thank you gift for our time together. Even though my sessions are sold with all digital images and rights to print, I still can’t help but give my clients a few small prints to show them how wonderful they look on paper. The wallets I give are also a great way to share your images with parents, grandparents and any other special person in your life. Depending on the season, I also throw is anything from a custom printed photo key chain to an accordion book.
Here is a glimpse of the goodies in my Client Appreciation Gift. (Because everyone wants to feel appreciated).
So what are your thoughts? Would working with a photographer who treats you like this make you feel like a loved client? I’d love to hear your feedback! If your answer is yes, let’s work together!
