If you have been following along with my blog posts, you have probably heard me mention our dear neighbor friends a few times. I am back today with another post of about this great family.
I have always wanted to use my talent for photography for good but up until recently I have not been able to figure out what that would look like. I recently had an “A-HA” moment before doing this session.
After learning so much from my neighbors about the ins and outs of foster care and adoption I discovered that wanted to share the love with families who open their hearts and homes to kids who need it most. I recently posted on a few Facebook groups about donating my services in the form of photo sessions to these families and the feedback was overwhelming. I am so excited to learn more about these families and the kids they are taking in. So stay tuned for more photo sessions like this one in the near future.
So back to this family. You guys know a lot about them already so I’ll just skip to the babe. He came to them at 1 week old as their first permanent foster placement and they didn’t want to miss out on one tiny detail of his time with them so we did an in-home newborn lifestyle session for this nugget!
If you or anyone you know is a foster or adoptive parent, please contact me or share my information with them to learn more about my services!
I’m a family photographer in the St. Louis area. I blog about my photography sessions, raising young children and what moms should know when they’re looking to hire a family photographer. If that’s interesting to you, sign up below to get email updates straight to your inbox. Thanks for reading!
